QUALITY OF LIFE INDICATORS PROJECT REPORT

SUSTAINABILITY INDICATORS STUDIES FOR THE CITY OF OXNARD 

Welcome and thank you for checking out our “Indicators Study”.  The Sustainability Council in partnership with students and faculty from California State University at Northridge produced the study.  An eight-page summary of the "Indicators Study" is available as well as the full report.

The study considered indicators in light of the recently adopted land use/growth control measures passed in Ventura County and most cities (including Oxnard).  A primary objective of  the study was to prompt discussion about specific indicators and the general use of indicators to stimulate change leading to a more sustainable future.  

To facilitate discussion we invite anyone who wishes to comment on the "Indicator Study" to email your remarks to the Council by clicking here.  We encourage people to propose alternative indicators if they take issue with the ones presented.
